Ownership & Team
Our event venue and arts space at 10 10th Street is owned by the City of Oakland and operated by Oakland Civic, LLC (DBA Henry J. Kaiser Center for the Arts) under a 99-year lease disposition and development agreement. The Calvin Simmons Theatre 501(c)(3) is the major tenant, with a coterminous lease on the 1,500 seat proscenium theatre and 3 adjacent ballrooms.
